*shakes head, smacks forehead*

Reading comprehension by some on this board sucks.

What sup-rbeast meant is that the war fueled the condition of the economy going from recovering to crappy again due to us having to spend millions of dollars a day to keep war efforts and troops up way after they should have been withdrawn.

You're right, this ain't 1920--we didn't mobilize as a country to militarize ourselves and the US Armed Forces. The government kept spending more and more on the war effort--had to keep spending because Bush and the GOP refused to at least set a timetable for withdrawal of US troops from Iraq. Everyday that we stay there, millions are added to the national debt. As the national debt goes up, our economy goes further into the crapper.

Any questions?

if thats what he meant hes still clearly not correct

because the enitre time we were sending more and more over there by the day the market was still going higher

its only after the democraps took control of the house and senate that things went into the shitter and did so at a pretty rapid pace

so 4 years of sending troops over seas with republican control and the markets rebound from the 9/11 induced recession to hit all time high levels then the dems take over and in a 2 year period where we have sent less over there suddenly things go to hell

doesnt make any sense to me

the answer is pretty clear.......the economy of this country and the market dont like the socialsit way of thinking of the dems

If it doesn't ,then saddle up boy- you going for a ride.
Everybody with less than 25 years in their field might want to brush off the old resume, looks like you might be hunting for work. Better hope Obama makes enough "make work" jobs to go around, because if someone doesn't , the export of decent wage jobs and tax base has caught us. Time to cut out foreign aid and stop being world cops.

All ya hear on here from GOP supporters is "blah, blah, blah, 9/11, blah, blah, blah, Hussein, blah, blah, blah, war on terror, blah, blah, blah, they're gonna take our guns, blah, blah, blah, blame the dems for not being able to undo in 2 years what the GOP did in 6, blah, blah, blah, Clinton got a blow job, blah, blah, blah"...in other words, nothing that makes one bit of sense in the present tense.

I support neither, for the exact reasons that you have shown in your post, supports of either never want to talk fact, just opinion....

No liberals want to talk about the facts just imagine how the world will be with free healthcare from the farry god mother, and how great the market will do, it will be better than White Water ever thought of being...

No Pubs wanta talk about greed or ties to Underworld groups, nor do they wanta talk ignorant war policies
